When asked who do you consider a hero, my reply is that its very hard to decide on one specific hero. Through out my childhood, I thought the
world of Wonder Woman and considered her my hero. And in today's world,
many of the athletes in wrestling, football, baseball, basketball, and
all the other sports are considered heroes. But soon, that will all change.
On September 11, 2001, the United States was attacked by "faceless cowards".
Many innocent lives were taken away from us all because some maniac decided to wage a war on the United States.
Does Osama bin Laden
not realize that no matter how many times he attacks the US, he and his group cannot bend the fiber and being of this great
country? Yes, many people died, but a lot more people have united.
When looking up the word Hero in the dictionary, there should be a photo of the brave men and
women who died trying to save and rescue victims of the World Trade
Center.
These men and women sacrificed their lives without any hesitation.
They went above and beyond the call of duty. These people deserve to be called Heroes, but more importantly, they deserved to be called
Americans. Along with our war veterans, these men and women gave their lives so that others may live.
